HEIRS OF THE PROMISE

đź“–Memory Verse: And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise (Galatians 3:29).

In Christ, you’re born God’s heir. All of His wealth and resources belong to you: “And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ…” (Romans 8:17). The Bible says the silver, gold, precious stones and the whole world belong to Him: “The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts” (Haggai 2:8).

In Psalm 50:10-12, He said, “For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine…for the world is mine, and the fullness thereof.” Therefore, as an heir of God, and joint heir with Christ, the silver, the gold, the cattle upon a thousand hills, the world and the fullness thereof, belong to you as much as they belong to Him.

See yourself in this light, for this is the truth about your prosperity. In the same way that the righteousness of God was imparted to your spirit when you were born again, prosperity and greatness have been imparted to your spirit. 2 Corinthians 8:9 says, “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” What does this mean?

First, understand that Jesus never became poor spiritually. So, the scripture we just read is talking about physical, material, and financial blessings. Jesus became poor for your sake so that from what He gave up, you might inherit abundance. Don’t see your job or business as your source. Live a joyful, prosperous life every day.

You’re the habitation of all of God’s blessings: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ” (Ephesians 1:3). Remember what the Lord said to Abraham, “…I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing” (Genesis 12:2); and He really did bless Abraham.

Paul revealed in Galatians 3:16 that the promised blessing wasn’t to Abraham alone but to Abraham and his seed. That seed is Christ. And we read in our opening scripture that “…if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29). You’re the inheritor of the blessings of Abraham. Everywhere you go, you carry blessings with you. When you show up, blessings arrive. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I’m the seed of Abraham, and therefore the possessor and distributor of divine blessings. Salvation, righteousness, prosperity, healing, God’s goodness, mercies and grace flow through me to bless my world! I walk in abundance, health and success all my days. I’m blessed in all things and in every way. Blessed be God!
