..our Saviour Jesus Christ…gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works (Titus 2:13-14).
The psalmist, in Psalm 135:4, makes a remarkable declaration: “For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.” This
is your present-day reality. You’re God’s peculiar treasure; chosen, consecrated, and glorious. He set you apart for His glory and divine purpose. Ephesians 1:4 says, “According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.” Think about that! You’re blessed beyond what you presently know; therefore, value who you are and what you have.
Never belittle yourself or see yourself as ordinary. The Lord has ordained your greatness. There’re no two fingerprints alike in the whole world. No two people are exactly the same, and what God wants is to manifest Himself in and through you in a way that He has never done through anyone else. You’re utterly unique andgloriously distinguished.
1 Peter 2:9 says, “But ye are a chosen generation,a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.” And guess what? His glory in you is ever increasing.
That’s one of the beautiful things the Word of God accomplishes in your life. As you study it, as you listen to it, as it’s ministered to you, you’re like gold being refined, like precious metal being polished, shining ever more brilliantly. The more you meditate on the Word, the more glorious you are. Hold that image, that glorious image of you that you see in the Word. That’s the real you: holy, excellent, washed, sanctified, and justified. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for making me your peculiar treasure, separated unto you for your glory and divine purpose. I walk in the consciousness of who I am in Christ; holy, excellent, sanctified and full of glory. Your beauty and righteousness are revealed in and through me more and more as I behold and live by your Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
If you’re blessed by this devotional, believing every words you heard by faith in your heart, and would love to make Jesus the lord of your life, then speak the confessions below out loud, and mean them with your heart:
“O Lord God, I believe with all my heart in Jesus Christ, Son of the living God. I believe He died for me and God raised Him from the dead. I believe He’s alive today. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him and in His Name, I have eternal life; I’m born again. Thank you Lord, for saving my soul! I’m now a child of God. Hallelujah!”

FURTHER STUDY:
Ephesians 1:4 (AMPC)
4 Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love.
2 Timothy 1:9 (KJV)
9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.
Ephesians 2:10 (AMPC)
10 For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, born anew that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].
