February 19th Rhapsody – CONTINUAL FELLOWSHIP WITH THE SPIRIT

CONTINUAL FELLOWSHIP WITH THE SPIRIT

For to be carnally minded is death; butto be spiritually minded is life and peace(Romans 8:6).

Oftentimes, people struggle to have true fellowship with the Holy Spirit because they’re constantly living from their minds. They’re children of the flesh, occupied with earthly consciousness, filled with worldly considerations, and driven by natural contemplations. Yet,the Bible says, “…to be carnally minded is death; butto be spiritually minded is life and peace. ”

If there’s anything that should be constant about you, it’s living in perpetual fellowship with the Holy Spirit, recognising His person, talking with Him, and walking with Him daily. 2 Corinthians 13:14 says, “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.”

Talk to the Lord always. Don’t pray only when you need something; instead, maintain that ongoing communion of love between your spirit and His. That fellowship is what He desires. Keep it alive. 1 Corinthians 1:9 says, “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” Fellowship is communication, communion, a drinking together.

From Genesis to Revelation, we find that God talks. He spoke creation into being. He talked to Adam, to Noah, to Abraham, to Moses, to the prophets, and through His Son,Jesus Christ. Even today, through His Word and the Holy Spirit, He’s still talking. So, learn to listen and talk back to Him in true fellowship. That’s life in the Spirit. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for bringing me into divine fellowship with you. I’m conscious of your presence in me and rejoice at the privilege and blessing of communing with you always. Through that fellowship,I’m guided, strengthened, and inspired to live the higherlife in Christ and fulfil my purpose, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

If you’re blessed by this devotional, believing every words you heard by faith in your heart, and would love to make Jesus the lord of your life, then speak the confessions below out loud, and mean them with your heart:

“O Lord God, I believe with all my heart in Jesus Christ, Son of the living God. I believe He died for me and God raised Him from the dead. I believe He’s alive today. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him and in His Name, I have eternal life; I’m born again. Thank you Lord, for saving my soul! I’m now a child of God. Hallelujah!”
